Last weekend, the SPS team raced Round 7 at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and the team put on a solid performance.
The Bullring is a 3/8-mile paved oval track located just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The track is known for its high-banked turns and tight racing action, which can make for some exciting moments on the track.
Sigma Performance Services Racing, a team based in Las Vegas, fielded their #78 Pro Late Model car with driver Ricky G behind the wheel. From the beginning of the race, it was clear that the team had a strong car, and Ricky G was able to qualify well and show good speed when it came race time.
Starting from outside the front row, Ricky G battled for position in the top three, However, an on-track incident spun the 78 car costing him and the team a shot at a top-5 finish.
The team was thrilled with 13 year-old Brody Manning's performance in the Jr. Late Model Division. Brody made progress throughout the weekend with strong showings in both feature events and building valuable momentum in the second half of the season.
Sigma Performance Services Racing is a team to watch in the coming rounds as they continue to compete in the Nascar Weekly Series at The Bullring. Next up for the team is Round 8 on June 2nd/3rd.
