SIGMA RACE CARS
SPS currently builds and campaigns Super Late Model cars on the SRL tour and several west coast paved oval short tracks. Super late models are the premier divisions of asphalt short track racing in the United States. They typically feature 600+ horse power engines, American naturally aspirated V8s, under the hood of a custom built chassis weighing around 2,750 lbs. Most bodies are constructed from fiberglass and conform to the 2002 approved body configuration agreement. This standard allows SPS to not only compete at local tracks but also to travel throughout the country hitting major events nationwide like The Snowball Derby.
SPS is excited to build and campaign Pro Late Models in 2022 all over the Southwest including at the infamous Bullring in Las Vegas, Havasu 95 Speedway and the Southwest Tour Series.
If road racing is more to your liking the SPS crew has experience with the purpose-built road race
cars prepared to race in the TransAm – TA2 class with stops at legendary road courses spread across the
The United States.
Within SPS we have the experienced staff to build and support NASCAR Gander RV
superspeedway race trucks that run at tracks similar to the 1.5 mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series is one of three national divisions of NASCAR, ranking as the third tier behind the second-tier NASCAR Xfinity Series and the top-level NASCAR Cup Series.
Legend Cars have become one of the fastest-growing segments of motorsports today. With drivers being classified into four different divisions, Legend Cars are THE racing opportunity that is available to anyone! The Pro Division is for experienced drivers. The Masters' Division features drivers 40 years and older. The Semi-Pro Division is the novice class, featuring the drivers that are new to the sport or have been inactive in other forms of racing for a while. Then there is the Young Lions Division which is designated for tersthe drivers between the ages of 12 and 16. Since the car stays the same from division to division, it is the driver that makes the difference!
