Saturday night the SPS Super Late team raced the $10,000-to-win “JM Environmental Inc. Wild West Shootout Flick the Switch – Bulwark ‘FR Firecracker 100” and it was a wild one for sure!
With Dustin and Joe both qualifying inside the top 10, hopes were high for strong finishes.
Dustin starting from the 5th spot ran a clean and smart race and brought the #11 home for a season-best 4th place. It looks like this car is getting dialed in and it’s gonna keep just getting faster and faster!
It’s always great to see Jim Wulfenstein back racing at one of his favorite tracks and congrats to Wulfy on a top 10 finish Saturday night!
Everyone was super pumped to see Joe back in the 54 this weekend! Joe was fast in practice and qualified well in his first time back in the car this season. After running a strong race, unfortunately, an on-track incident collected the 54 on lap 86 sending him into the pits. The team was able to get the car going again and Joe was able to salvage an 11th place finish.
