Mawhinney and SPS Bring Home 3rd in Roseville

Derek Thorn crossed the finish line first at All American Speedway earning his 46th career SRL victory and fifth at the Roseville facility. Thorn led every lap to collect $6,800, which included bonus money from JM Environmental Inc. and Dave Reeves Complete Auto Care, as well as the Winner's Bonus from McGunegill Engine Performance. Thorn was challenged by Jacob Gomes on each restart, but pulled away after the long green flag run at the end. Gomes would fade late in the race to fifth, as Linny N Sunny White finished second, followed by Jonathan Mawhinney and Tyler Fabozzi. Cole Moore finished sixth followed by Kyle Neveau, Carlos E. Vieira, John Moore and Tracy Bolin. The "JM Environmental Inc Wild West Shootout Round #2 Thunderstruck 127 presented by 51 FIFTY" was Round #6 of the 2020 season.

Next up for the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series is the October Classic at Kern County Raceway. Stay tuned for special announcements on the event in the coming days.
